Exploding boxes

Hi everyone! I hope you are fine!

Last week I made these two exploding boxes for baptism. 

One for a girl and one for a boy. 

I have used dies from DooHickey Box Vol 13. 

Like the whale and the baby bottle.

The tassels are made with a dies from the DooHickey Box Vol 5.

The box are made with a Kraft Cardstock measuring 27 x 27 cm. 

I have foldet it at 9 cm, and 9 cm. 

The cut it out like you see under.

The sweet image, Sleeping Baby Tilda,

is fasten on a plastic strip. 

I have cut the strip out from a plastic container. 

Sleeping Baby Tilda is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

Also the clouds are cut out from a DooHickey die (vol 13),

and put up on a plastic strip.

Now to the baby boy box.

Inside this box you find Baby Edwin

from Princes and Princesses Collection 2012.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

Under you see a pocket with a small card

to write a greeting on.

All the papers are from MajaDesign. 

The sentiment is from Stempelglede.

Baby Edwin on an easel card

Hello! Here comes a new card from me:) I have made a baby card for with the cute Baby Edwin. He is coloured with distress ink, markers and re-inkers. All the papers are from Maja Design (vintage baby collection). And many of the dies used are from the Doohickey club vol 9.

The card is shaped with a gokreate die, and I have made an easel card.

The butterfly stamp is from Stempelglede. The banner is from Doohickey club vol. 9, and the letters are from a sissix die. Under I have some close ups for you :)

Noen minikort ca 10x10 cm

  Ett Trykk fyller 10 år, og har utfordret mange til å lage en utfordring basert på artikkler i bladene deres. Jeg valgte meg en artikkel om minikort.

Jeg har brukt de søte Go Kreate diesene, og den minste diesen der som måler ca 10 x10 cm.

Alle kortene mine har en stamme av Kraft kartong, og et panel under mønsterarket der jeg har brukt Bazzill-Vanilla. Jeg har fargelagt fem mini-Magnolia stempler med Distress Ink, re-inkers. Alle er også bygd opp på omtrent samme måte. Med bølgepapp, serviett og osteklut bak motivet. Og jeg har fått brukt noe Maja Design restepapir -Vintage Spring Basics og Vintage Summer Basics. Papirkantene er svertet med Distress Ink pad – Walnut Stain, og sydd med symaskin.

Jeg har laget fem små minikort. Det er fort gjort å lage noen flere når du først er igang!

Birthday card for my little prince turning 1 year ♥

Motivet Baby Edwin er fra Magnolia, og er fargelagt med Distress Ink, re-inkers. Mest i fargen Weathered Wood, men også litt Frayed Burlap.

Poststemplene er fra Stempelglede, og det nede på skrivefeltet er fra platen som heter Post Card from Paris. 

Det blir ikke så mye tekst i dag, for jeg har det litt travelt:)

Men jeg håper du liker kortet mitt, og legg gjerne igjen en kommentar om du har tid og lyst,

 Både tall og bokstav er stanset ut fra Sissix dies.

A Baby Card

Hi! Here comes a new card from me:)
I have used the super cute Baby Edwin from the Princes & Princesses Collection 2012.

I have made the baby card to a friend of mine who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy just before Christmas. She lives in another part of Norway, but will be home for Winter holiday this week, and I am looking so much forward to meet her and her baby! And of course I had to have a card for him:) 

The beautiful papers is from Maja Design and the Life by the Sea collection.
I have used flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts and Ruffle Roses (the beautiful large blue one)  from Petaloo. The flowerberries are from Kort og Godt. 

Behind the cute image from Magnolia I have put some cheese cloth and a doily.

I have cut out two Tilda Tags from Magnolia's DooHickeys and put them in a small pocket. I have used this pocket on several cards now, and I think it is very decorative and great to put tags in!:) You can get it in Hjerteboden.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, Markers and Re-inkers.

The whole card is made with a Go Kreate Die.

A layout with some news!

This time I am really in for surprising you!;) 

With a layout (which I never make), and the news about an expecting baby ♥

My husband and I are so excited and happy about the fantastic news!!

And when Jenny (CT coordinator in Maja Design) asked if I would consider to try to make a layout, 

I thought about it, and why not make the first page in the baby's album, with it's first photo taken;)

In the ultrasound picture taken just before Christmas it is almost 11 weeks, and you can barely see it is a human beeing.

But it is, and it really feels like a miracle!

For the layout, I know I must practice some (a lot) more, 

so bare with me that this is not something I usually do! 

I have used the gorgeous autumn papers from Maja Design 

and the collection Walking it the Forest.

The letters "baby" are made with Tim Holtz XL Alphabet die - Word Play.

For the letters "i magen" I have used Tim Holtz - Typeset Alphabet.

The letters are inked with Walnut Stain and I have also added Crackle Accents to them. 

Behind the letters I have painted with Crackle Paint - Picket Fence.

The gorgeous "Baby"-sentiment is from Stempelglede, and a collection called Velkommen lille Venn. 

The other decoration stamps I have used are also from Stempelglede 

and the collection Vintage Garden.

I have also coloured up two images from the wonderful Magnolia stamps. 

The first one is Bonny Tilda from the With Love collection 2013. She is here to look after the baby:)

The other is Mother to be Tilda from the Princes and Princesses Collection 2012. And she symbolizes, who do you think?? Yes, me!:)
