Happy Birthday!

Here comes a birthday card I was asked to make some time ago. I really think this Edwin looks cool serving drinks!

The card is a bit bigger than I normally do, at the moment I don't remember the actually size. But I have used Magnolia papers, inked and sewed again:)

The "nameplate" is from Tim Holtz. And you may see that I have put Stickles-Star Dust to the paper edges. The frame is made by Spellbinder Nestabillities dises. I layed to sizes together and made this frame.

The large flower is from Prima. And the numbers are from Thickers. The letters are from Making Memories. I have got the tag from Panduro.

Under you can see the simple inside of the card. It looks the same as on the front. I love those gorgeous papers:)

Under you can see that I have used some addhesive foam to lift the frame up a bit.

Tilda ved sjøen

Her kommer et sommerkort jeg laget for en stund siden. Jeg lurte litt på å sende det inn til Magnolia Ink, men det ble ikke noe av. Jeg var liksom ikke helt fornøyd med pyntingen. Men siden jeg ikke har laget så mange kort i det siste, så passer det jo at jeg viser det på bloggen nå:)

Motiv, blomster og papirer er fra Magnolia. Og jeg har fargelagt med Distress Ink.

Sammen med Tilda så gleder jeg meg til sommerferien. Jeg har også plasket tærne mine i sjøen:) Og det var faktisk ikke sååå kaldt.

I dag kom DT-pakken fra Magnolia. Så snart så kommer det noen bryllupskort i bloggen, og jeg kan også love en liten Blog Candy med et av de nye bryllupsstemplene, så det er bare å følge med;)

Guitar Edwin

Yesterday I made a birthday card for the music-teacher at school:) He is turning 60 tomorrow. I have used this guitar-playing Edwin from 2008 Party and Vacation Collection. Behind him is the sun from the 2009 Tilda and Edwin Pet/Animal Collection.

The images are masked together, and coloured with Distress Ink, Reinkers.

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo

Skin: Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo

Guitar: Vintage Photo, Black Soot

Shirt: Walnut Stain

Trousers: Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Black Soot

Sun: Scattered Straw, Wild Honey

I have cut out the pennants myself and put them on 3D-pillows. The letters, notes, leaves and numbers are Quick Kutz. I have put some Stickles-Star Dust on the sun and the clouds.
