Edwin with stolen heart ♥

Min gode kollega på jobb fyller år i dag!

Hurra for Alexander!!:)

Jeg har laget denne vintag'en til han, som jeg har hengt på 

en flaske med noe rødt i.

Motivet heter Edwin with stolen heart og er fra 

Sweet Crazy Love kolleksjonen til Magnolia fra i år.

Jeg har blandet meg en glimmer mist selv til tagen, som jeg har sprayet på selve tagen, 

på ostekluten og på seem binding-båndet. 

I glimmer mist blandingen min har jeg brukt fargen vintage photo, sammen med vann og opalite pigment inker (som lager glittereffekten -snart på lager igjen hos Hjerteboden).

Mønsterarket er et av de nye miniarkene til Magnolia-A Christmas Story.

De søte gjerdet er laget med DooHickey diesen Lovely Fence.

Navnet til bursdagsbarnet er laget med bokstaver trykket ut fra Tim Holtz diesen Typeset. Jeg har brukt Bazzill-vanilla. Boksavene er svertet med Walnut Stain, og så har jeg påført Crackle Accents på dem. Til venstre har jeg også brukt en "serviett-die" som heter Distressed doily. Likte den kjempegodt, så kommer nok til å bruke den masse:) Den er stanset ut fra Kraft kartong, og så malt over med Gesso. 

Det samme med tannhjulene, som heter Mini Gears Set. Jeg har festet dem på tagen med stiftemaskin.

Bølgepappen bak er også fargelagt med Gesso.

Selve tagen er en TH die-Tags and bookplates. 

Krone-charmen er kjøpt på ebay.

Oppe til høyre har jeg festet på en Journaling billett.

Til fargeleggingen har jeg brukt Distress Ink-reinkers. 

Jeg har malt med Italieri syntetisk rund pensel, str. 0 og 00.

Motivet er stemplet med Archival Ink-Jet Black på The Langton papir.

Tilda going Banana!

Hi there!

It has been a busy week for me, and now I am home after a crop called Strilascrappen here at Norway's West Coast:) I had a fabulous time with my friends Audhild and Bente!

Bente and me tried more out the Distress Markers, and had to buy some more all the time when we saw how the colors ended up on each others images:)) 

Me and my husband had set up his shop Hjerteboden the night before, and there were also another lovely shop at the crop called Everyday Moments. 

Now I regret a little that I didn't buy the whole Distress Markers set first... 

It was easier and more fun to color with them the more I practiced:)

But now to the card, it is of course for MDUC challenges the coming week, and the theme is 

OLD TREASURES!

I often use old treasures on my cards, so this was a fun challenge for me, not that difficult:)

I have used a paper from an old book I got from my grandmother. Then some corrugated paper, cheese cloth and a doily.

The image is Tilda going Banana from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012 from Magnolia. 

I have color her up in Distress Ink, reinkers.

Tiger Tilda wants to give you a good and warm hug:)

I have challenged myself to use the orange pattern papers from Life by the sea by Maja Design.

It fit the image Tiger Tilda from Magnolia so well:) So in the end it wasn't a very hard challenge.

As you can see I have made an Easel Card with the dies from Go Kreate.

The heart is made with a Spellbinder die, and the text stamp is from Stempelglede - Just a note.

I have also used Stempelglede stamps around the image (Vintage Garden), and the poststamp is an old one from Crafty Individuals.

The gorgeous flowers are from Prima.

I have made this card to a friend of mine that need a hug right now (Klem=hug).

And Tilda looks so cozy too:)

 The image is coloured with Distress Ink.

The flags and leaves are both made with DooHickey dies (Magnolia).

Tilda with Balloons

Here comes a paper bag i have decorated. 

I have colored Tilda with Balloons with Distress Ink, reinkers.

I have decorated a paper bag with the lovely Skjargårdsliv papers from Maja Design.

The swirls around the image are from Stempelglede. 

I have added crackle accents to the balloons, and some spots with liquid pearls around Tilda.

I have used some DooHickeys for the tags: So Wrapped Heart and Star Tag (from Magnolia).

And the tag behind the image is called Tildas Tag.

Here comes my pink and brown card for the challenge at Deep Ocean Challenge Blog (DOC).

A little Shabby Chic? Don't you think?:)

I made this card after attending Hilde's workshop at Papirfesten, thanks for all the inspiration!

I have used some white paint here and there, totally inspired by Karita and Minna. I got to try some of the paint that my friend Bente had brought with her.

Valentino is from Magnolia, and he is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers. The pinkish colour is a mix of several colours: Aged Mahogany, Tattered Rose, Victorian Velvet, Weathered Wood and Dusty Concord.

After adding the mix, I started over again with the shadows in Black Soot.

 The tags are from Magnolia (DooHickeys die), and all the ribbons and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 The super gorgeous papers are from MAJA DESIGN.

Tomic #36 - Edwin with stolen heart

It is time for a new challenge at TOMIC! And this time Tina has made a lovely sketch for us to follow and you have to use Edwin:)) He is going to be celebrated this week!!

I made this card for my brother who turned 19 late last month. 

I have used the latest image of Edwin. It is called Edwin with stolen Heart. 

Wonder if my brother has stolen anyones heart lately?!;)) I think so:)

Edwin is colored with Distress Ink, reinkers. He is cut out, and behind him lays Edwin's town. 

A heart charm:)

The stamps around on the paper edges are from Stempelglede. 

The papers are from Pion Design.

Under you can see a bit closer how the card is built up with several layers.

Tilda with Peony Tails

It is Saturday night here in Norway, and time for a new challenge at

Magnolia Down Under Challenges!

The theme is:

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

I am not sure what I think of this card... It looks strange. I had a plan when I made it, but the result was quite different. I am not sure if you have experienced something like that before?

Anyway, I have colored up Tilda with Peony Tails from Magnolia's last collection Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012. The text on the tag is also from the same collection.
I have stamped the sentiment with Memento Ink, and added Stickles-Star Dust on the text.
The tag is called Tilda Tag, and is my favorite tag at the moment. It is from the Sweet Christmas Collection 2011. I use it a lot!:) Another favorite die is the Lovely Fence-die. You can see it behind Tilda. It is from the Cozy Autumn  Collection 2010.

The papers are from Pion Design, a sheet from an old book, and some corrugated paper.
The corrugated paper is inked with Walnut Stain (Distress Ink, pad) and then I have painted with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence.

Maybe you can spot a strawberry charm over (or under)? It is really cute.

The ribbon is from Tom Holtz.

Tilda with Wrapped Heart ♥

It is time for a new challenge at
Deep Ocean Challenge Blog
to night! 

And this time the theme is LOVE YOU.

Tilda with Wrapped Heart fits this challenge well I think.

She is colored with Distress Inks. I have mixed together several colors here, like Aged Maghogany, Tattered Rose, Dusty Concord and Weathered Wood. And at the end I have put Black Soot at some places.

The lovely papers are from Maja Design, and the Ska vi ta en Fika? collection.
I have used:

# Havrerutor

The stamps around Tilda (both text and swirls) are from Stempelglede.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Craft. And the tag is made with a DooHickey dies from Magnolia.

Tilda with Heartchain ♥

Her kommer et kort med Tilda with Heartchain. Denne gangen i blått:)

Tilda er fargelagt med Distress Ink, men på et nytt akvarellpapir. 

Jeg fikk en helt nydelig gavepose av min DT-venn Debbie Dolphin, og så at hun fargela på et helt glatt akvarellpapir. Og etter at Canson har forandret sitt 300g papir slik at det har blitt ruere, har jeg ikke vært helt fornøyd med det. Så da var fristelsen stor til å prøve Debbie's papir. 

Det er litt ulikt Canson sitt, men det tok ikke lang tid med øving før jeg syns det gikk kjempefint. Fargene blir litt sterkere her, så det gjelder å begrense seg litt mer med fargene. 

For tips til andre som har lyst til å prøve så er merket Langton, Extra Smooth Hot Pressed 300g.

 Jeg har også testet ut de nye papirene til Pion, så søte:)

Her er også et metallhjørne som jeg har malt med Crackle Paint-Picket Fence. 

 Teksten på høyre side er også fra Magnolia.

Rundt motivet så har jeg stemplet med stempler fra Stempelglede.

 Blomsterbær fra Magnoliabutikken i Borås. Tagen og gjerdet er stanset ut med dies fra Magnolia (DooHickey's).

 Jeg har blitt veldig glad i Kraft-kartong, så det har jeg brukt som base på dette kortet også:)

MDUC #130 Colours of your national flag ♥

Hi all! 

To night it is time to honor our national flag! In MDUC we want you to make a creation inspired by the colors in your national flag.

Since I am a Norwegian I have made a card in red, white and blue.

I have used a new stamp called Cuddly Siblings, aren't they cute together?!:)

They are colored with Distress Ink, reinkers. 

I have placed the So Wrapped Lovely on top of the card. And the papers are also from Magnolia. And this one is called Paris Red Peony. 

I have used a stamp from Stempelglede (Vintage Garden) to make the spots around the image.

Some flower berries and swirls from Magnolia. I thought the teddy-charm fit the card well. 

The card from the side. I have put the Lovely Fence up on adhesive foam.
