Let's Avo-cuddle!

Hi everyone!

I hope you are fine in this unsurreal time. 

The corona virus has hit Norway hard, 

and many other countries too.

I am sending all of you my love.

Thinking of my cardmaking friends in Italy now,

I really hope you are ok.

Here is a heart shaped card I have made with 

stamps from the Live Laugh Love Collection 2019.

The stamp is called Let's Avo Cuddle Art Stamp sheet.

I have coloured the image with Distress Ink,

reinkers and Markers.

The papers used are from Maja Design.

All dies used are from Magnolia.

Christmas in July ♥ Tilda with Pingling ♥

Her kommer et nytt kort jeg har laget til MDUC. Denne uken vil vi se julekreasjoner! 

Litt rart å lage julekort midt på sommeren, men også veldig gøy:)

Jeg har fargelagt Tilda with Pingling (nå på tilbud hos Hjerteboden!). Hun var min absolutte favoritt blandt julestemplene i fjor. Og er ifra A Christmas Story Collection 2012 fra Magnolia. Dessverre fikk jeg ikke tid til å fargelegge henne da, så det var ikke vanskelig å velge stempel til denne utfordringen nå!:)

Hun er fargelagt med Distress Ink, re-inkers. 

Hud: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose (kinn: mix av Tattered Rose og Aged Mahogany)

Hår: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Kjole/sko: Weathered Wood, Black Soot

Pingling: Tattered Rose, Walnut Stain

Pakke: Aged Mahogany, Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Black Soot, Vintage Photo.

Skyggen er lagt med Markers: Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone.

Jeg har også prikket rundt motivet med Liquid Pearls-White Opal.

På pakken og sløyfen har jeg påført Crackle Accents.

 Til pynten har jeg stanset ut blad fra en DooHickey dies som heter Poinsettia. 

Jeg har brukt Bazzill-Vanilla. Etter at bladene var stanset ut malte jeg dem med Crackle Paint-Rock Candy, når det hadde tørket påførte jeg Snow Paint fra Panduro i kantene.

Kantdiesen jeg har brukt med snøkrystallene er fra Tim Holtz. Den er behandlet på samme måte som julestjernene. Bladene/kvistene er stanset ut med en Martha Stewart punch.

Tagen bak motivet heter Tilda Tag og er en DooHickey dies.

Jeg har festet et seem binding bånd i den, som jeg har sprayet med vann og krøllet sammen, for så å ligge til tørk.

Selve kortet er laget med en GoKreate die.

Teksten jeg har stemplet på her er fra Stempelglede sin plate Vintage Christmas.

Papirene er fra Magnolia, (Christmas Toys (6"), Holly Christmas).

Jeg har også festet osteklut under motivet og påført noen perler.

Ski Edwin with Snowflakes

Endelig fredag og helg!!;)

Jeg har dekorert denne gaveposen med nydelige papirer fra Maja Design og søte Edwin på ski.

Han heter Ski Edwin with Snowflakes og er ifra Magnolia's A Christmas Story Collection 2012.

Jeg har stempelt motivet med Archival Ink- Jet Black på Langton papir. 

Fargelegging - Distress Ink-reinkers:

Hud: Vintage photo, tattered rose (Kinn: Aged Mahogany, tattered rose)

Hår: Antique linen, walnut stain

Skidress: Weathered wood, black soot.

Ski+sko: Black soot

Snøfnuggene er stanset ut og påført Crackle Paint-Rock Candy og litt Picket Fense i kantene.

Tagen er en Vintage Tag fra Magnolia.

De lekre papirene er fra Maja Design og Vintage Winter kolleksjonen.

Jeg har også stemplet på mønsterark og rundt motivet med de stilige poststemplene fra Magnolia.

Bak motivet har jeg festet osteklut, 

og gjerdet er stanset ut med DooHickey's diesen Lovely fence.

Tilda in the Mountains ♥

Hi! Here comes an easel card I have made with cool Tilda in the Mountins from the Christmas Story Collection 2012. I just had to have her, she fits perfect to any ski fun card:)

The papers I have used are from Maja Design, and I have used dies from Magnolia, Tim Holtz, Spellbinders and Martha Stewart.

If you look closely on her glasses, you will see that I have added some Crackle Accents to them, to make it look like real glass. 

Tilda is colored with Distress Ink Reinkers.

I have used the Langton Hot Pressed paper to stamp on and Italieri brushes size 0 and 000.

And again I have taken too many photos:)

The lovely sentiment is from Stempelglede.

MAGNOLIA ADVENT CALENDAR ~ DAY 13

Hi! Today it is my honour to host the Magnolia Advent Calendar!

I am so happy that you made me a visit ♥

Today we celebrate Saint Lucy's day here in Norway. The day is also celebrated in several Nordic countries. 

And Saint Lucy is also one of the few Saints that we celebrate here in our country, 

so she is a bit special:)

I have made this wall hanging for you to see today.

It is my first wall hanging ever, and I hope you like it.

The poststamps are from Magnolia's latest collection "With Love Collection"

They are all coloured with Distress Inks and Distress Markers.

Edwin as a Wiseman & how to make a shaped card ♥

Here comes a new Christmas Card I have made with two of the lovely Nativity stamps I recived from Magnolia. Here you can see Edwin as Wiseman masked together with Paradise Palm both from the Nativity Collection 2012. I have also used the lovely text Merry Christmas from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012.

I have tried the "No Line" colouring again, where I have stamped the image on a regular paper three times before I stamp it on the water colour paper. Later I have coloured his eyes, eyebrows and the three spots on his cheeks with a black pen. The freckles are made with Distress Marker-Tea Dye.

My colouring with Distress Ink-Reinkers:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, the cheeks are coloured with a mix of Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany. 

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain.

Clothes : Weathered Wood, Pumice Stone, Frayed Burlap and Black Soot 

Crown: Scattered Straw, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot.

Paradise Palm: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Shabby Shutters, Black Soot.

I have used a number of DooHickeys on my card too, here are So Wrapped Lovely and Poinsettia. The tag is called Tilda Tag.

The whole card is shaped with a GoKreate die, called Large Frame Frilly #7 (Product no: 160027). 

After some questions about it, I will now show you how I cut out the shaped card.

I use a Kraft card stock measuring 15x30 cm, a panel 15x15 cm, and the pattern paper 15x15 cm.

I start with the Kraft Card Stock:

 Which I fold in the middle, like this:

Then I find the largest of the Go Kreate dies (14x14 cm) and place it on the cutting machine like this:

I then take the Kraft Card Stock and lay it on the die, but leave some open on the top:

Then I run the die with the paper in through the cutting machine (I have a transparent plate over and one under the die).

And here is what the card base looks like:

I don't want the card to be flat on the top, so therefore I cut out a panel and a pattern paper to place on the front. I need a panel under the pattern paper so that I can sew them together, and then glue them to the card base.

Here are the three parts cut out.

And you can see how I place the panel and the pattern paper on to the base.

I only glue them to the base after they are sewed together and the front is fully decorated.
