I have made a card with the new Vintage Summer Basics papers. I have used several papers from the 6"x6" Paper Pad.
I have coloured up the image from Magnolia called Tilda in Havanna. I think the vintage papers fits her well, as she looks like she is from an movie from the 1920's:)

She is coloured with Distress Ink and Distress Markers.
The poststamps are from Kort & Godt.
Some tickets hidden:) And a metal photo corner which I have painted white with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence.
I have cut out the "memory" text on the right side from a Maja Design paper.
Some krysantemums from K&G together with buds and roses from WOC.
I have put some cheese cloth behind the image.
All the small paper details are cut out from the

MDUC#142 ~ Banners & Flags

Here comes my card for the MDUC this week, the theme is Flags and Banners.
It is to create a project using either banner or a flag.
I have used the flag die from Magnolia's DooHickey's.
I received the amazing Spring Club kit from Magnolia some days ago!
Thank you so much Magnolia and Pauline, they are truly gorgeous <3
I long for summer now, and these motives makes me dream:)
I have masked together Tilda with Binoculars, the Shell and an Ocean Background from 2009. The collection from that time is called Lazy Summer Day's Collection 2009. And it was actually my first collection as a DT member for Magnolia. So I remember it very well.
I feel so privileged to be on this team with some amazing ladies (and two lads;)) from all over the world.
Before every new collection I am always so curious, and when they come it is almost like Christmas Eve.
Can you believe rubber can make you so happy?;)
I think probably it is Tilda's shoes you look at first on the picture above, but it was the Tim Holtz dies I wanted to show:) The gears are called Movers and Shapers
But her shoes are super cute aren't they?:) I like the feminine touch.
I have colored the gears with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence.
The lovely nautical papers I have used are from Maja Design. The collection is called Skärgårdsliv, a wonderful collection!
Hjerteboden got the new DooHickey's dies the other day, and I just had to have some more:)
So I bought Tilda's ticket (very popular, they are sold out already!), and also the scalloped dotted lace.
You can see I have used it on top of the card.
I have put two of Tilda's tickets behind the image.
I have also used the DooHickey Die -So Wrapped Starlight behind the corrugated paper.
The photo corners are made with Quic Kutz.
The image is colored with both Distress Ink and Distress Markers.
I feel like I have to combine them, as the Markers doesn't always have the same colors as the inks that I am used to. But they both work perfectly together on the Langton hot pressed paper, 300g, that my DT friend Debbie Dolphin told me about.
I found a Norwegian store that sold the papers, they are called Tegnesenteret.
I hope my card inspired you to join the challenge at MDUC this week.
and please visit our blog to see some amazing creations from my DT friend as always!
