It is time for a new challenge at
Deep Ocean Challenge Blog
to night!

And this time the theme is LOVE YOU.

Tilda with Wrapped Heart fits this challenge well I think.

She is colored with Distress Inks. I have mixed together several colors here, like Aged Maghogany, Tattered Rose, Dusty Concord and Weathered Wood. And at the end I have put Black Soot at some places.

The lovely papers are from Maja Design, and the Ska vi ta en Fika? collection.

The stamps around Tilda (both text and swirls) are from Stempelglede.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Craft. And the tag is made with a DooHickey dies from Magnolia.

Tilda with Heartchain ♥

Her kommer et kort med Tilda with Heartchain. Denne gangen i blått:)

Tilda er fargelagt med Distress Ink, men på et nytt akvarellpapir.

Jeg fikk en helt nydelig gavepose av min DT-venn Debbie Dolphin, og så at hun fargela på et helt glatt akvarellpapir. Og etter at Canson har forandret sitt 300g papir slik at det har blitt ruere, har jeg ikke vært helt fornøyd med det. Så da var fristelsen stor til å prøve Debbie's papir.

Det er litt ulikt Canson sitt, men det tok ikke lang tid med øving før jeg syns det gikk kjempefint. Fargene blir litt sterkere her, så det gjelder å begrense seg litt mer med fargene.

For tips til andre som har lyst til å prøve så er merket Langton, Extra Smooth Hot Pressed 300g.

Jeg har også testet ut de nye papirene til Pion, så søte:)

Her er også et metallhjørne som jeg har malt med Crackle Paint-Picket Fence.

Teksten på høyre side er også fra Magnolia.

Rundt motivet så har jeg stemplet med stempler fra Stempelglede.

Blomsterbær fra Magnoliabutikken i Borås. Tagen og gjerdet er stanset ut med dies fra Magnolia (DooHickey's).

Jeg har blitt veldig glad i Kraft-kartong, så det har jeg brukt som base på dette kortet også:)

MDUC #130 Colours of your national flag ♥

Hi all!

To night it is time to honor our national flag! In MDUC we want you to make a creation inspired by the colors in your national flag.

Since I am a Norwegian I have made a card in red, white and blue.

I have used a new stamp called Cuddly Siblings, aren't they cute together?!:)

They are colored with Distress Ink, reinkers.

I have placed the So Wrapped Lovely on top of the card. And the papers are also from Magnolia. And this one is called Paris Red Peony.

I have used a stamp from Stempelglede (Vintage Garden) to make the spots around the image.

Some flower berries and swirls from Magnolia. I thought the teddy-charm fit the card well.

The card from the side. I have put the Lovely Fence up on adhesive foam.

Hope you got inspired, and think this challenge sounds like fun!

Some words about my Baby Carriage for Magnolia Ink

Hi all!

I have got some reactions (not positive) regarding my Baby Carriage and the step by step I made for Magnolia Ink.

And I want to say that the making of a Baby Carriage is not my idea.

I have been inspired by several other Baby Carriages,

and I would like to say that I am so sorry to have upset

some of the talent ladies that also have made a pram of papers,

and before me.

I had no intention to "steal" this idea as my own.

I thought it was a common knowledge that Baby Carriages

had been made by others before. And that no one thought the idea of a Baby Carriage of paper was my idea.

I have not "stolen" any templates, but used Spellbinder "Circle" dies for the pram bag,

like many others. I don't know who was the "inventor" of doing this.

And for the storm cover I have used border dies from Magnolia (DooHickey's).

It is a special storm cover and I have seen it in several blogs.

I was not aware of that it was Maya S who had made this first (2010).

After reading some comments on FB regarding this, I contacted her.

And she wanted full apology in public and that everyone should be aware of that this was her idea and that she was the first one that had made this.

So Maya, like I told you when I contacted you, I am so sorry for not mention your name in the description for the Baby Carriage in Magnolia Ink. I know many have been inspired by your gorgeous pram.

And although I haven't copied your tutorial, I can see that they are quite similar.

So I can see where your reaction is coming from.

The measurements, colors, details and embellishments are not the same, but we have both used the Spellbinder dies.

And we have used the same idea about how to make the storm cover.

We all get inspired and we also inspire others.

Isn't that why we share our ideas here on our blogs?!

This hobby is all about having fun!

And I have also gotten so many good friends through my card making,

which I am extremely thankful for.

But I am also very concerned that the origin person to the ideas should be mentioned.

So therefor I write this post.

The idea about this special storm cover may originate from Hasslecastle Serendipity templates that has the copyright from 2008. Sonja Sellers has made this gorgeous pram after this template.

And here is another post from 2009 where someone is using the same idea for the storm cover. Only in her own version.

My friend Fran has also made a stunning Baby Carriage in 2009. And here is another version from 2009.

And I also want to show you another gorgeous version from 2011.

And here is another favorite Baby Carriage from 2009 by sweet Carina.

Niki Estes has also made a Baby Carriage + template that I have been inspired by. I first saw Petra's stunning Baby Carriage, and made my own a bit later too.

Here comes my card for the new challenge at Deep Ocean Challenges.

The theme is sparkling.

I have used a lot of Stickles-Star Dust on my card.

I made this card for my friend Camilla, it's her birthday today.

Happy birthday Camilla!! I hope you are having a wonderful day.

The image is Tilda with heart balloons from Magnolia's latest collection "Sweet Crazy Love Colletion 2012". She is a cutie:)

If you look closely, you can see that I have added crackle accents to the balloons.

I have stamped with Stempelglede stamps around the image.

The paper edges are inked with Walnut stain with Tim Holtz Distress Ink- blending tool.

All the paper edges are sewed.

Flowers are from Prima and WOC. And I have put some cheese cloth behind the papers. I have used the Doo Hickey dies Tilda Tag, Heart Swirl and Sweet Lovely Lace.

The gorgeous papers that you can hardly see are from Pion Design:)

Another closeup:) I have also added Liquid Pearl- opal white around Tilda. And she is of course colored with Distress Ink, reinkers.

TOMIC #32 ~ Pink with a bow

Hello! Here comes my PINK card for the new challenge at

TOMIC.

I am thinking I was really lucky with the theme this time:)

Use a lot of pink and have a bow on your creation.

I have coloured Pie Tilda from Magnolia's latest collection Sweet Crazy Love Collection 2012, with Distress Ink.

This card is made to my mother in law who celebrated her birthday yesterday.

Like me she also likes the Magnolia images, and sometimes she finds the time to sit down and colour images with me.

The text is from an older Magnolia collection. It is stamped with Memento Ink, Rich Cocoa. And as you might see, I have added some Stickles-Star Dust onto it.

I received a lovely gift from Magnolia for Christmas, with many cute Magnolia products!!:) Pie Tilda was in it and also this lovely tag, which is called "So Wrapped Lovely DooHickey's".

Also the gorgeous papers are from Magnolia's latest collection.

The flowers I have used are from Prima and WOC.

I really hope that I have inspired you to join our challenge this week.

Hello!

We are back with the Magnolia Down Under Challenge, after our Christmas break.

This first challenge of the year is quite simple:

ANYTHING GOES!

But remember to use something from Magnolia on it:)

I made this card a while ago.

It is a Christmas stamp, but I have made a kind of Spring card with it.

I have made a belt around the card.

And it also has an unusual opening.

As you can see I have used several dies from Magnolia.

But the letters are from a Tim Holtz alphabet, called Vintage Market.

Tilda with Winterflowers is colored with Distress Inks, reinkers.

All papers are from Magnolia. I have used mini-papers:)

Det er første januar, og tid for en ny utfordring hos

Hjerteboden's Juleblogg.

I år har vi forandret litt på reglene, slik at de som er med må iallefall lage et bidrag etter et tema.

TOMIC #30 ~ {HAPPY NEW YEAR}

Det er klart for en ny utfordring hos TOMIC!

Og denne uken er det Nyttårsfeiringen som står i fokus.

Og teksten "Happy New Year" må være med.

Her hjemme regner og blåser det. Og all snøen er borte...

Men det er jo koselig å sitte inne å lage en flaske-tag også, som jeg har gjort her.

Og jeg har brukt Stickers fra Making Memories til "Happy New Year"-teksten.
All papir er fra Maja Design. Kartongen er Kraft og Bazzill-Vanilla.

Tagen er stanset ut med Big Shot'en og er fra en Tim Holtz die som heter Tags and Bookplates.

Viserene er også fra Tim Holtz og heter Game Spinners.

Jeg har festet båndet i en helt ny tag fra Magnolia, som jeg laget av DooHickey die'en: So Wrapped Lovely.

Tilda her fra Magnolia sin Raising the Ceiling Collection and Right Trugh my Heart Collection 2010, og heter Charleston Tilda. Jeg har maskert henne sammen med Grand Piano og et glass fra Champange & Candelabra, begge fra samme kolleksjon.

Jeg har fargelagt med Distress Ink, reinkers.

Jeg har stemplet med stjernestempelet Stars fra You are so Special Collection 2011. Det er stemplet med puten Memento-Rich Cocoa, og jeg har påført Stickles-Star Dust og Platinum.

Stjernetagene er DooHickeys fra Magnolia, og heter: Star Tag.

Raining Tilda Hearts

Hei! Her kommer et kort som ikke er et julekort!:)

Litt rart å lage noe annet, men litt godt også.

Jeg fortsetter med Hjertebodens Juleblogg i 2012 også,

så noen flere julekort kommer du til å se her, men ikke så mange som i

år.

Uansett dette er et kort jeg har laget til utfordringen i Deep Ocean Challenge Blog.

Der er temaet "Warm Wishes", og det kan jo omtrent være hva som helst.

Jeg fikk endelig brukt det nye stempelet mitt som jeg har

spesialbestilt fra Nederland.

Jeg har tatt mange bilder, men har ikke tid til å skrive så mye denne gangen....

Stationary Box
made especially for the Magnolia advent calendar

I really enjoyed to make this box. It was fast and easy.
But it was the decorations and to make all inside that took some time:)
Under is a close up of the front of the box.
I have used this cute Tilda stamp called Tilda hiding gift.
Behind her is the Dream Tag - which is made with a DooHickey die.
I have stamped the text "Sweet Christmas Dreams" on the tag, together with some snowflakes (Sweet Snowflakes), all from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011.

As you can see under, I have decorated the top.
The blue swirls are from the Magnolia shop in Borås, Sweden.
Under them you can see that I have fastened the Heart Swirl (Doo Hickey die).

Lets take the cover off!

Here is a peek of whats inside:)

I have made folders for small cards (7,5x7,5 cm), tags and ordinary cards (15x15 cm).

Here sits Tilda with Crosstiched Heart wishing you Merry X-mas!

Under you can see all the small card lined up for you.

I have used the Magnolia Mini stamps to decorate them with.

From the left you have: Star Tilda, Tilda with Snowheart, Halo Tilda and Winter Tilda.

I have also used some DooHickeys called Spruce, Hellebores and Poinsettia for decoratons.

The circles are made with Spellbinders Circle dies.

Here are some tags I made. I have used the DooHickey die called Vintage Tag.
Also here I have stamped on some of the super cute Mini Magnolias.
Tilda with Hellebores, A little Gift Tilda and Ice Tilda.

For this matching set I made two ordinary shaped cards.
Here is the first one:

It is Tilda with Snowheart. And I have masked her toghether with a text from an older collection from Magnolia.
So sweet isn't she;)

Under I have used the Star Tag (DooHickey) and put it behind the image. It is not fasten, so you can pull it out. It is painted with Crackel Paint-Picket Fence, on that I have fastened some Making Memories stickers, added some walnut stain ink, and painted over with Crackel Paint-Rock Candy.

Here I have fastened some Hydrangea flowers with a pearl in the middle. And some more Heart Swirls (DooHickey) under them. The pearls I often use come from KaiserCrafts.

Here is my second card with sweet Halo Tilda.

It is basically made the same way as the one above.

There are only a few differences.

Also she is masked together with the text from an older collection.
I think adding some Stickles to the text looks nice.

And a Star Tag here aswell.

But also another tag;)

Surprise! Mini Halo Tilda says hello:)
She wears a blue dress, and "big" Halo Tilda has a beige one.

Fellesprosjektet vårt i Hjerteboden's Juleblogg denne måneden er å dekorere en eske.
Jeg har dekorert en toffifee eske. Både papir og stempel er fra Magnolia.
Her er Tilda with Hellebores.

Hud: Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Tattered Rose (Aged Mahogany+Tattered Rose i kinnene)

Den fine juleteksten er ifra Stempelglede. Jeg har pyntet med Heartswirl, Liquid Pearls, perler og blomster. Og rundt kantene av teksten har jeg påført Stickles-Platinum.

Det blir litt lite tekst nå, men jeg er midt oppi rettinger av tentamener...

Here comes my card for this weeks challenge at

MDUC ~ Let it snow!

Here where I live it is a terrible weather, and it is hopeless to take nice photos of my cards.

It is nice to sit inside to make card though:)

I was so happy when Hjerteboden got the mini papers from Pion,

but as you can see, I have covered the card so heavily that they don't even show...

For the Let it Snow-theme, I have thought about the glitter in the shaker card as snow, I have also painted with snow paint on the edges, and added some DooHickey Snowflakes on the card.

The gorgeous ribbon you can spot under is from Tim Holtz.

I have used some stickers from Making Memories for the letters, God Jul -Merry Christmas.

The pearls are strips from Kaiser Crafts.

The gorgeous image is Halo Tilda from Magnolia's Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011.

She is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers.

Sweet Christmas Tilda ♥

For the next two weeks you can join the Deep Ocean Challenge, where the theme is
The letter "C".
I have made a Criss Cross Christmas Card!

I have coloured up Sweet Christmas Tilda from Magnolia with Distress Inks.

For the purple colour I have mixed together Aged Mahogany and Dusty Concord.

After adding that mix first, I have laid the shaddows with Black Soot.

For the brown I have used Walnut Stain, and then Black Soot.

Under you can see some closeups:

This year I have put together the Advent candles myselves.

I bought the numbers in the Magnolia store, and the plate is from Kremmerhuset, the decorations stones are from Black Design, and the candles from Living.

So next Sunday I will be ready to light candle number one.

The countdown starts;)

Tilda with Christmas baking

Here comes my new card for MDUC this coming week.
We have the focus on sentiments:) And the text have to be the focial point.
Mine is from Magnolia, and I have also stamped on some snow flakes (Magnolia). And then I have used an old stamp from Stempelglede, and used clear embossing over the other stamps.
You can see the fine pattern if you look closely.

Baking Tilda here is colored with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

Her dress does not fit the papers or flowers at all... But I just wanted to use this paper from Maja Design-Vintage Winter (December), and think it looks ok.. Not perfect, but... I had no time to paint a new Tilda.

"Blessings for a wonderful.." is from Maja Design too, and the Klippark.

On the bottom of the paper I have stamped a border from Maja Design's stamps.

I have used my poststamp again. I am sorry, but I don't know where you can get it. I bought it a long time ago, and they don't sell it there anymore.

Vi i Hjerteboden's Juleblogg har valgt oss pakkelapper som fellesprosjekt for november!

Og her kommer mine...

Det ble litt i hurten og sturten,

så jeg tror jeg skal lage noen flere senere med litt mer pynt på!

Men ta turen innom Julebloggen, for der er det mange utrolig flotte pakkelapper fra de andre!!

Det ble to i denne omgang. Så mangler det bare "til" og "fra", og så gavene da.

Har i motsetning til de andre ikke begynt for alvor med julehandelen...

Stemplene er fra Magnolia, og mini Star Tilda er kjøpt i Borås i høst.

Hjerteboden får snart inn mange mini stempler med de nye julestemplene i butikken,

så da må jeg nok lage noen fler;)

An Advent Calendar ♥

As many of you thought I have made an Advent Calendar!

I had been admiring Hanne's gorgeous Calendar, and wanted to try myself.

I have made all the windows myself of bazzill-vanilla.

And I have taken some photos during making it, which I will show in another post.

The last window to open is ofcourse 24 (here in Norway), and here you will find a big room. It is the whole inside of the house.

Here is another side of the house. I have made a balcony of the Doo Hickey die-Lovely Fence.

Here I have masked together Tilda with the sledge.

A closer look on the balcony.

Here I have masked together three stamps.

On the other side I have no stamps, only windows and a chimney.

I have made the roof-edges with a DooHickey called Swedish Lace.

I have sewed around all paper edges, also around each window.

I have decorated around each window with Stickles-Platinum.

On the insides of the windows I have fasten ribbon and laces for curtains. I forgot to take a good photo of it, but if you look on the photo above, you can have a glimpse of it.

Happy Birthday Mom!

It is my mothers birthday today! Happy Birthday mom!

I made her this card with the sweetest Tilda from the Netherlands.

She is made especially for the Doe@ding shop in Holland.

Tilda is colored with Distress Ink, reindeers. I have also added crackle accents to the hearts, and some Stickles-star dust here and there.

As you can see under, it is a easel card.

A close up of the flowers under. Most of them is from Hjerteboden.

The text is stamped on a new heart tag from Magnolia.

And the text is from Stempelglede.

Winter Tilda med "No lines"-teknikken

Her kommer en gavepose jeg har laget.

Du ser kanskje at motivet ser litt annerledes ut??

Det er fordi jeg har forsøkt meg på "No lines" teknikken.

Jeg har kun stemplet motivet svakt på akvarellarket. Dvs at jeg først stemplet motivet 4-5 ganger på et vanlig A4 ark, for å få bort mest mulig stempelsverte, for så å stemple motivet på akvarellpapiret tilslutt.

Jeg bruker pensel str 000, som er super på detaljer. Og med "No lines" må jeg jobbe ekstra mye med kantene og skyggeleggingen.

Here is my card for TOMIC this week!

For my card I have one row horisontal - Magnolia papers, purple and DooHickey dies.

I have coloured Tilda with Snowheart from Magnolia's latest collection Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection, with Distress Ink, reinkers.

And as you see, have masked her together with the

Wham-song text "Last Christmas I gave you my (snow) heart....":)

The papers are sooo lovely! And are also from Magnolia's latest collection.

The trees under, is a new DooHickey die. I have cut it out on Bazzill-Vanilla, inked the edges with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain, and added Crackle Paint-Picket Fence to it. On some places I have also added Snow Paint from Panduro Hobby.

Under is a closeup on the gorgeous flowers from Hjerteboden (WOC), and the flowerberries from Magnolia.

I have made a Shaker Card with Swimming Tilda from The Winner Takes It All Collection 2011.

I was so lucky to win this stamp in Louise's Blog Candy!

To make the shaker box, I have used circle spellbinders. And gelatine for the window. The glitter I use is called Sugar Coating and is from Doodlebug Design.

Under you can see a post stamp from Making Memories.

If you look closely you can see that I have added Crackle Accents to her diving glasses.

The two fishes are from an earlier collection, I am not sure which.

If you have had a look in Magnolia Ink no 4, 2011, you can see that I have made a larger fish, by enlarging this small one. There I made a fish purse of this small stamp:)

On the next two photos you can see the gelatine glass better.

The glitter is all over:)

Da jeg skulle møte min kjære DT-venn i Magnolia, Monique, for første gang,

ville jeg gi henne en liten hilsen fra meg.

Jeg har sett Monique bruke motivet noen ganger, og tenkte at det kunne være en liten favoritt:)

Deretter har jeg svertet kantene med Distress Ink Pad- Walnut Stain. Jeg bruker svampen Blending Tool fra Tim Holtz når jeg påfører sverte. Etter det påfører jeg litt Crackle Paint-Picket Fence over klokken.

The Magnolia Day is finally here!!!

We were all so excited, and so happy to meet each other.

The photo is taken inside the Magnolia shop. They had decorated the most beautiful Christmas tree (I had to buy some of the tree decorations to bring with me home to Norway..:)).

Here we are on Saturday morning, from the left Monique, Camilla H, Lillemor and me.

I had a Distress Coloring workshop,

and had many lovely visitors to my classes.

Behind me you can see Lillemor. She also had a workshop, Distress coloring and masking.

Here is beautiful Monique, with her make and take. She was really busy all day!

Under you can see gorgeous Camilla with her Shaker card- and coloring demonstration.

Under is a photo of my friend who I travelled together with -Janne, and Louise and me:) We are all in the Magnolia Down Under Challenges DT. It was great fun to meet Louise, she is such a lovely person!

Just take a look at the surroundings here. Don't you just love the furniture, and decorations?!

This photo was taken in the Magnolia cafe.

The whole shop had a relaxing atmosphere, even if there were many people there.

In the evening Barbro and John took us all out to a lovely thai-restaurant. The service and food were excellent!
We were all together 13 persons. And even little Edwin joined us:)

Denne uken hos TOMIC feirer vi Magnolia sin bursdag!

Og det med Halloween som tema.

Jeg har lenge hatt lyst til å lage en kiste,

og fant en super oppskrift hos Martha Stewart.

Motivet er søte Tilda med Tistel fra Halloween kolleksjonen 2008.

Syns denne spøkelse-charmen er så søt:) Har fått den av en god blogg-venn.
Jeg har festet litt osteklut bak blomstene oppe på kisten, det skal liksom være spindelvev:)

Jeg har påført Crackle Accents på kjolen til Tilda. Har dekorert med Magnolia-papir inni kisten.

Det har vært stille i bloggen min nå noen dager, men det vil ikke si at jeg ikke lager noe nytt:)

Tusen takk for en flott helg på Målselvscreppa! Del #2

Her kommer del 2 av Målselvscreppa-kurskort og bilder.

På lørdag laget vi et bokkort, itillegg til å male motivet.

Jeg kommer her til å skrive litt om målene jeg har på papirene mine også,

siden det er noen som spør om det:)

Motivet er fra Magnolia og papirene fra Maja Design.

Motivet er malt på 300g akvarellpapir, med med Italeri pensel str.000.

Papiret til hele kortet måler 15x25cm, der høyden er 15 cm, og jeg har preget på 11 cm og 14 cm. Det vil si at bakstykket er 3 cm bredt. Panelene måler 14,5x10,5 cm. Og mønsterarkene måler 14x10cm.

Inni bokkortet.

"Boken" er satt sammen av fire pregede ark. Jeg har brukt 200g akvarellpapir.

Kortsiden måler 10,5x20cm, og jeg har preget på hver cm. Altså en cm mellom hver brett.

Langsiden måler 14,5x20cm.

Sommerfuglen er en DooHickey fra Magnolia som heter Swirly Butterfly.

Ja tenk jeg ble invitert til Bardufoss og Målselvscreppa!

Så langt nord har jeg aldri vært.

Selv om jeg ikke fikk tid til å se meg så mye omkring, fikk jeg iallefall tid til å treffe mange utrolig koselig damer der oppe!

Jeg tenkte jeg skulle vise det ene kurskortet i dag,

og noen bilder fra kurset med dette kortet.

Vi lagde shakerkort og malte med Distress Ink.

Papirene er fra Pion Design, tekst fra Stempelglede og motivet fra Magnolia.

Magnolia var også en av sponsorene på treffet.

Det var ca 50 stykker på treffet, og alle fikk de et stempel fra Magnolia.

Nye stempler fra de to siste kolleksjonene.

Det var også mange andre som sponset Målselvscreppa, så scenen var full av sponsorgaver til premier!

Også fra Hjerteboden;)

Flott at så mange stilte opp og gav premier, og overskuddet fra treffet gikk til Redd Barna.

Alle som var på kurset mitt fikk et kit med utstyr til å lage en kopi av dette kortet.

Her kommer mitt andre julekort denne måneden.

Denne gangen med Cozy Tilda fra So Jolly & Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009 fra Magnolia.

Som vanlig masse bilder, og ikke så masse tekst.

Papirene er fra Pion Design, og det gotiske papiret er fra en veldig gammel bok jeg har fått av mormor. Jeg har ikke hatt samvittighet til å rive i den før. Men nå som den har ligget i skapet mitt i lang tid, og ikke vært til noe nytte eller glede for noen, så gikk det egentlig ganske greitt:)

En liten sniktitt på kursene mine på Målselvscreppa ♥

Jeg har blitt invitert til å holde to kurs på Målselvscreppa.

Og nå begynner det å nærme seg, det er bare to dager til før jeg setter kursen avgårde nordover!

Jeg tenkte jeg skulle legge ut en liten sneak peek av kursene mine, slik at de som har meldt seg på får noen tips om hva vi skal gjøre;)

A shaker-bag ♥

Already a new challenge-week with MDUC! And this time we want to see framings.

Any kind of frame is good, you can make it your self, like I have done with my Spellbinder dies.

I have used Petite Ovals Large, and Petite Scalloped Ovals Large.

This is also my first Christmas Project this month for Hjerteboden's Juleblogg.

Bente has challenged us to decorate a paperbag this month.

I have used gelantine as a window, and put glitter inside. So this is actually a shaker-bag:)

I have a better photo of the gelantine longer down the post.

I have made the banner with a Tim Holtz die called Tattered Banners.

The text "Merry Christmas" is stamped with Walnut Stain, and I have added Crackle Paint-Rock Candy on it. I have also put some Stickles-Star Dust on the edges of the banner.

Under you can see the gelantine better.

Three Quick Tips ♥

I just thought I should share some tip on how I "Pretty up my Tilda" for you today.

Above you can see Tilda coloured up with Distress Ink, reinkers.

But I also add some other elements to my images.

For her cheeks and some places around on the image where I want some highlightnings, I use my Inkssentials pen.

For some more white spots, I use Liquid Pearls.

I have used it here both on the image and around her.

This is especially great on Christmas and Wintercards. As it may look like snow:)

Then ofcourse there is my dear Stickles-Star Dust. I can't make a card without her:))

I have put on some exstra so you can see the effects.

You can buy these products in almost every scrapping store I belive,

but as you might know, I buy mine at Hjerteboden ♥

Her kommer mitt siste julekort i august. Jeg var litt redd for at jeg ikke skulle rekke det, men så fikk jeg jo noen utrolig søte julestempler i DT-pakken fra Magnolia. Og da var det kjempegøy å male på litt "nye" motiv! Her er Cozy Tilda fra So Jolly & Under the Mistletoe Collection 2009.

Rødfargen jeg har brukt er en blanding av Aged Mahogany og Dusty Concord. Dette for å få en mer burgunder farge. Etter å ha lagt på rødfargen har jeg så skyggelagt med Black Soot.

MDUC #111 ~ Texture

This week at MDUC we want to see texture on you card!

Since I am behind with my Christmas cards for August I have done them in the last minute...

Here are the first of my two last, the other one will come in my blog tomorrow:)

The texture I have used on this card is Cheese cloth, ribbon, jute string and lace.

I also got this silver twist from Magnolia when I visited the shop this summer,

fits Christmas cards perfect!

For the big flower I have used a Poinsettia DooHickey dies from Magnolia.
If you see some white painting on some of the edges, it is painted on with some snow paint I found in a Panduro-shop.

MDUC #110 ~ Flutterbys (use a butterfly)

We are back with a new fun challenge at MDUC!

This week we want to see BUTTERFLIES!!

As you can see, I have used my DooHickey die from Magnolia called Swirly Butterfly. It is sooo gorgeous!

I have punched it out two times in two matching colours. Then decorated it with Stickles-Star Dust and Liquid Pearls-White Opal.

As usual I have a lot of photos where you can have a closer look at the details.

I really enjoy making book-cards now after I got my Scor-Pal!

I can't belive I bough one earlier, but I guess I thought that folding papers were not something I wanted to spend money on. But belive me, it is worth it!!:)

Now the foldings are faster to make, and look much better.

Here is the inside!

I will fill it up with some candy.

The girl who is getting this book-card has already told me what her favourites are;)

The text inside is from Stempelglede, and I have embossed it. It says "A hug to You".

I just had it laying around, and thought "Why not use it here!":)

A gift tag for Christmas

Her kommer en juletag jeg har laget for Hjerteboden's Juleblogg.

Vi gir jo bort noen flasker til jul, og da er det koselig å kunne henge en liten hilsen på.

Selve tagen er en Tags and bookplates-die fra Tim Holtz.

Masse Stickles-Platinum på kantene. Papir er fra Maja Design og Panduro (gotisk skrift). Liker veldig godt tager, og synes denne Scalloped Tag'en fra Magnolia er super! Teksten er stemplet på med Walnut Stain, og er et stempel fra Magnolia. Ellers på tagen har jeg perler (KaiserCrafts-Chino), en nøkkel (som ligger i vilden sky under fotograferingen...), blonde (kjøpt i Borås) og Scrappers Floss.

Tilda med Amaryllis er fargelagt med Distress Ink.

Mer blonder nede på tagen. og jeg har også brukt DooHickey diesen Tilda's Lace.

"Loving Christmas Wishes"-billettstempelet er fra Magnolia, mens den andre billetten er fra Tim Holtz.

Tilda with Kite ♥

Yes! It is bingo time at MDUC this coming week:))
We have a bingo sheet for you, where you have to choose three things in a line, either vertical or horisontal. You can ofcourse use other things from the sheet, but you as said have to have three things in a line.
I have the bingo sheet at the end of this post, or you can have a closer look in the MDUC blog.

I also bought Tilda with Kite from the Sweet Rainbow Collection 2010 in Borås.

She is really sweet:) The image is quite big, but I cut of the kite, so it would fit my Oval Petite Large Spellbinder die. Then cut out the kite, and fastene it back again:)

For the text I have used the DooHickey dies, Dream Tag. I have inked the edges with Walnut Stain, then added Stickles to the edges. On the "lace"edges I have put Stickles -Waterfall (kind of light blue colour) and on the other layer, where the sentiment is, I have added Stickles Platinum.

There is also a lot of Stickles-Platinum on some of the paperedges.

Also here some Liquid Pearl around the image:) And she has got a pearl in her ear.

The pearls I use are from KaiserCrafts, on this card they are just called "pearl".

Yes as usual I have a bunch of photos:)

Layers and flowers

She is so adorable, love the flowers in her hair.

For the colour on her jeans, I have used Victorian Velvet, Dusty Concord and Weathered Wood. Mixed them together, with most Victorian Velvet. Then painted it on, after that I have painted on the shadows with Black Soot.
